This document is a legally binding agreement between you and Interiorsahihai ([Company Legal Name], CIN [●], incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013). By using the platform, you agree to these terms. If something doesn't feel right, write to us — we're humans, we'll talk.

Section 02
What Interiorsahihai actually is
We are a curated marketplace — not a design agency. We don't take on your project. We don't manage your contractor. What we do is verify designers, list their real portfolios, and connect the right person to the right home.
Every design contract you sign is directly between you and the designer. We're the trusted matchmaker — not the one doing the work.
Intermediary Status
Interiorsahihai operates as an "intermediary" under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, read with the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We are not liable for third-party content published on the Platform — subject to the conditions under applicable law.
Section 03
Who can use this
3.1 Age & Legal Capacity
You must be 18 years or older and legally competent to enter a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By creating an account, you're confirming this is true.
3.2 Your Account
You are responsible for your account. That means:
- Keeping your login credentials private. Don't share them — not even with your intern.
- Everything done through your account is your responsibility.
- If something looks wrong — a login you didn't do, a message you didn't send — write to us immediately at legal@interiorsahihai.com.
3.3 Designer Verification
Designers must submit valid business registration, GST registration (where applicable), portfolio samples, and identity proof. We reserve the right to reject or suspend listings that don't meet our verification standards. We won't always explain why — but the standard exists to protect homeowners, which is the whole point.
3.4 One Account Per Person
One account. If we find duplicates, we may merge or remove them without notice.
Section 04
Data we collect — and why
We collect the minimum we need to run the platform well. We don't collect for the sake of it. Here's what we ask for and why.
4.1 What you give us directly
- Identity: Your name, profile photo, date of birth (for age verification).
- Contact details: Email, mobile number, city, state, PIN code.
- Professional data (Designers): Business name, portfolio images, years of experience, service areas, certifications, GST number, bank account details for payouts.
- Project data (Home Buyers): Property type, approximate area, budget range, design preferences, location, timeline.
- Financial records: Transaction history, payment method type. We do not store full card numbers — payments run through certified third-party gateways.
- Messages: Conversations via in-platform chat, support tickets, and emails with our team.
4.2 What we collect automatically
- IP address, browser, operating system, device type, access timestamps, pages visited.
- Search queries, features used, content viewed — to understand what's working and what's not.
- City-level location from IP. Precise GPS only if you explicitly allow it on a mobile device.
4.3 What we get from third parties
- If you sign up via Google or a social login, we receive your name, email, and profile picture.
- Identity verification signals from authorised partners, to protect you from fraud.
Section 05
How we use your data
We process data for lawful purposes under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where consent is required, we ask for it. Where processing is for contract performance or legal compliance, we rely on those bases.
- To run the platform: Match homeowners with the right designers. Run the search. Power the profiles.
- To manage your account: Authenticate your identity. Keep things secure. Let you communicate with designers.
- To process payments: Handle transactions, issue invoices, manage designer payouts, maintain records required by Indian law.
- To keep you in the loop: Booking confirmations, payment receipts, account alerts. The practical stuff.
- For marketing (only with your consent): Useful recommendations, design inspiration, the occasional offer. You can opt out any time — one click, no friction.
- For safety: Detecting and blocking fraud, abuse, and anything that violates these terms.
- To comply with Indian law: Responding to lawful government requests. We don't share data with authorities unless legally required to.
- To make the platform better: Aggregated, anonymised analytics to understand what's working.
How our recommendations work
Our matching algorithm ranks designers based on ratings, response time, portfolio quality, and relevance to your project. This is automated. If you want to understand why a specific designer was shown to you, write to us — we'll explain.
Section 06
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. Full stop.
6.1 Between users
When you initiate contact with a designer, we share your name, contact number, and project brief with them. Designer profiles — portfolio, location, pricing range, reviews — are publicly visible on the platform.
6.2 Service providers
We work with third-party vendors for hosting, payments, email delivery, analytics, and customer support. They process data only to deliver those services and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
6.3 Legal requirements
We may disclose data where required by Indian law — including the IT Act 2000, the Code of Criminal Procedure, and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. We don't go beyond what's required.
6.4 Business changes
If the company merges, is acquired, or undergoes restructuring, your data may transfer to the successor entity — under equivalent data protection obligations.
6.5 International transfers
Some service providers are outside India. Where this happens, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place as required under the DPDP Act, 2023, and applicable government rules.
Section 07
Keeping your data safe
We take security seriously. Practically, that means:
- HTTPS / TLS encryption for all data in transit.
- Encryption at rest for sensitive and financial data.
- Access controls — only the people who need your data to do their job can see it.
- Regular security audits and vulnerability testing.
- A response plan for data breaches — including notifying you and relevant authorities as required by law.
No system is 100% secure. We can't make that promise. What we can promise is that we take reasonable, industry-standard precautions and that if something goes wrong, we tell you.
7.1 How long we keep your data
We retain data while your account is active, and as long as needed to fulfil legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days — except where retention is mandated by law (for example, GST and tax records).
7.2 Your rights as a data principal
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access: See what data we hold and what we do with it.
- Correct: Fix anything that's inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase: Ask us to delete data we no longer need — subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent to process data, you can withdraw it any time. This won't affect anything already processed.
- Nominate: Designate someone to exercise your rights if you're unable to.
- Raise a grievance: Get a response within the timelines prescribed by law. See Section 18.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (Section 18).
Section 08
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking tools to keep the platform working and to understand how it's being used.
- Strictly necessary: Session authentication and basic platform function. These can't be turned off.
- Functional: Remember your preferences. Optional, but disabling them may affect your experience.
- Analytics: Anonymised data on how the platform is used. Helps us improve it.
- Marketing (with consent): Used to show you relevant content on third-party platforms. You control these.
You can manage cookies through our consent banner on first visit, or through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break the platform.
Section 09
What we expect from you
We've built this platform for people who care about their homes. We expect you to use it in good faith. That means you must not:
- Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or unlawful under Indian law.
- Impersonate anyone. Misrepresent your credentials. Provide false information.
- Collect other users' personal data without their consent.
- Attack, disrupt, or tamper with the platform's infrastructure — including hacking, phishing, bots, or malicious code.
- Use the platform to do anything prohibited under the IT Act 2000, the Indian Penal Code, or the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
- Circumvent our security or fraud-prevention systems.
- Take connections made on this platform and transact offline to avoid our fees — during the restricted period specified in your subscription terms.
- Post fake reviews, pay for reviews, or ask others to.
Violations may result in account suspension, termination, or referral to law enforcement. We cooperate fully with legitimate investigations.
Section 10
For Designers & Studios
10.1 Your listing must be accurate
Your profile must represent your actual work. Portfolio images must be yours. Using another designer's work without attribution is copyright infringement under the Copyright Act, 1957 — and a violation of these terms.
10.2 Respond to enquiries
Respond to project enquiries within 48 hours. Persistent non-responsiveness harms the homeowners who are waiting to hear from you — and will affect your ranking.
10.3 Consumer law compliance
You are independently responsible for compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — accurate pricing, honouring quotes, no unfair trade practices.
10.4 GST compliance
If your turnover exceeds the statutory threshold, you must be GST-registered and issue compliant invoices. We may request GST certificates and will issue Form 26Q TDS certificates where applicable.
10.5 You are an independent professional
You are not an employee or agent of Interiorsahihai. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship. You are independently responsible for your work and your client relationships.
Section 11
For Home Buyers
11.1 Our recommendations are a starting point
We surface designers based on your requirements. But a match is not an endorsement. Verify references, check portfolios, have real conversations before you sign anything. We've done our part — now do yours.
11.2 Your contract is with the designer — not with us
Any design contract is directly between you and the designer. We are not a party to it. Read the contract carefully before you sign.
11.3 Leave honest reviews
Your reviews help other homeowners make better decisions. Write what you genuinely experienced — fair, factual, honest. We may remove reviews that are abusive or demonstrably false, and we may take action against users who post malicious reviews.
11.4 We can't guarantee outcomes
We can't promise that any designer will meet your specific expectations, stay within your budget, or complete your project on time. That's between you and them. What we can promise is that we vetted them — and that their portfolio is real.
Section 12
Payments, Fees & Refunds
12.1 Platform fees
We charge Designers a subscription, listing, or lead fee for access to Platform features. Current fees are shown on the Platform. We will give 30 days' notice of any change. Continued use after a fee revision is acceptance of the revised fee.
12.2 How payments work
Payments are processed through PCI-DSS certified gateways (Razorpay, PayU, or equivalent). We do not store card numbers or CVV data. By making a payment, you also agree to the terms of the payment gateway.
12.3 GST on platform fees
All platform fees are exclusive of GST. GST will be charged at the applicable rate for OIDAR services or such other category as determined by law.
12.4 Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins, except in cases of a verified technical error on our end. Raise billing disputes within 30 days at billing@interiorsahihai.com. Eligible refunds are processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment instrument.
12.5 Designer payments
Money you pay directly to a designer for their work is governed by your contract with that designer. We are not a party to that transaction and accept no liability for disputes arising from it.
Section 13
Intellectual Property
13.1 Our property
The Platform — its design, code, trademarks, logos, and all Company-created content — belongs to us. Protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and applicable law. You get a limited licence to use the Platform. Nothing more.
13.2 Your content
When you upload Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and adapt it to run and market the Platform. You keep ownership. You can request deletion at any time, subject to these Terms.
13.3 Your responsibility for what you upload
By uploading Content, you confirm you have the right to do so. If your Content infringes a third party's rights and they come after us, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless.
13.4 If someone has stolen your work
Send a written notice to our Grievance Officer (Section 18) with: your identity, the work affected, URL of the infringing content, a statement of good faith, and your signature. We'll act on valid takedown requests under the IT Act and IT Rules, 2021.
Section 14
Disclaimers & Liability
14.1 The platform is provided as-is
We don't make guarantees about accuracy, uptime, or fitness for purpose — to the maximum extent permitted by Indian law. We work hard to keep things running well. We're not promising perfection.
14.2 Third-party content
As an intermediary under the IT Act, we're not responsible for content posted by designers or users — provided we're meeting our due diligence obligations under the IT Rules, 2021.
14.3 Limitation of liability
Our maximum liability to any user for any claim relating to the Platform is capped at the total fees paid by that user to us in the three months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; lost profits or revenue; a designer's work quality or conduct; user disputes; or third-party services accessible from the Platform.
14.4 Force majeure
We're not liable for failures caused by events genuinely outside our control — natural disasters, government action, pandemics, power outages, internet infrastructure failures.
Section 15
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access, with or without notice, if:
- You breach any provision of this agreement.
- You provided false information during registration or thereafter.
- You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the Platform.
- You don't pay fees after due notice.
- Your actions expose us or other users to legal risk.
When your account is terminated, your right to use the Platform ends immediately. The clauses on intellectual property, liability, disputes, and governing law survive. You can request data deletion subject to Section 7.1.
Section 16
Dispute Resolution
16.1 Let's talk first
If something goes wrong, reach us at legal@interiorsahihai.com before taking any legal step. We'll aim to resolve it within 30 days of receiving your written notice. Most things can be sorted this way.
16.2 Arbitration
If we can't resolve it informally, the dispute will go to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. A sole arbitrator, mutually agreed or appointed under the Act. Seat and venue: Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Language: English. The award is final and binding.
16.3 Consumer forums
Nothing here takes away your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You are always free to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for deficiency in service.
16.4 Individual disputes only
To the extent permitted by law, disputes are resolved individually — not as class actions or group claims.
Section 17
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Subject to Section 16, the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes not resolved by arbitration.
Section 18
Grievance Officer
In compliance with the IT Act, 2000, the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021, and the DPDP Act, 2023, we've appointed a Grievance Officer. This is the person to contact for any complaint, data request, or copyright takedown.

We'll update this document when things change — the law, the platform, or how we operate. We'll give you at least 7 days' notice via email or a visible banner on the Platform (unless the law requires immediate change).
If you keep using the Platform after a change goes live, that's your acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with a change, you can close your account before it takes effect — no hard feelings.
